GALBREATH/GALBRAITH, WASHINGTON
Looking for information on the family of Washington Galbreath/Galbraith, wife Harriet. Children: Samuel born 1854, Jane born 1856, Calvin born 1858, Charles born 1860. They lived in Barnett Twp., Jefferson Co.,PA in the 1860 census. Washington served in the Civil War, PA Vol. Inf. 149th Reg. Co. H. called the "Bucktails". Wounded at the battle of Gettysburg on July 1, 1863. Mustered out with his company on June 24, 1865. In the 1890 Veterans Schedules wife Harriet was a widow and living in DuBois, Clearfield Co.,Pa . She had applied for a Civil War pension. Appreciate any information on the family. Libby
