I'm looking for any information in reference to John S. Martin, given name Jonathan Martin my great,great, great, great grandfather. The information that I can find, which is very limited, says that he was possibly born on August 17, 1777 in Pennsylvania (other info says 1787) and died March 3, 1839 in Carrington, Perry, Ohio. Some reference was made of him having the middle name of Still but I cannot confirm this nor can I find any information at all about his parents, grandparents or siblings.
If you have anything information that is even a little similar, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to review it.

Married: Sarah Michener, b. October 1, 1789, on February 1, 1810 in Jefferson Co., Oh.
Together, they had 9 children:

ELIZABETH ASHLEY MARTIN, b. Jan. 23 1815 in Tuscarawas, Oh.
HANNAH STILL MARTIN, b. Mar. 22 1817 in Tuscarawas, Oh.
DANIEL MICHENER MARTIN, b. Jan. 14 1819 in Tuscarawas, Oh.
BYER BARAK MARTIN, b. Jan. 3 1822 in Tuscarawas, Oh.
MARY ANN MARTIN, b. May 2 1825 in Little Sandusky, Tuscarawas, Oh.
SUSANNAH MICHENER MARTIN, b. Mar. 4 1828 in Little Sandusky, Tuscarawas, Oh.
KINSEY MARTIN, b. Nov. 15 1831 in Little Sandusky, Tuscarawas, Oh.
I already have a huge amount of information on the Michener history, and all that come before them, but cannot trace the MARTIN surname before John. This line is the only one I need to complete my family genealogy and it seems to be completely out of my grasp. HELP!!
