Attempting to locate George M. Hess'father. George M. was born in 1849(1847) in New Salem, York County. Was married to Sara Louise Reecer in 1870. They had four children: Abraham, Caroline (Callie), Elmira J. and Franklin Reecer (who is my grandfather). Father and sons worked in the steel mills. My grandfather left Pennsylvania in 1904 and homesteaded in Colorado. Any information on my GG grandfather would be appreciated.
