He had a job. He wasn't poor. Unfortunately you would have to have some idea where they lived or what church they might have gone to. If they were French they were undoubtedly Catholic. You could try the Pittsburgh Diocese. They have an archive and you can send them $15 and they will look things up. However they might not want to do that unless they have some idea what church they might have attended.
