I have a letter that speaks of a Beitel family photo.
The letter was to one of her cousins and it was sent August 30, 1939 from a Catherine E. Beitel who was born in 1902 she never married.
It says:
You mention a family picture which you have, there is one on the piano at Schoeneck (Pennsylvania town) just like it, the one standing on a chair back of his parents is my father, the one sitting on a chair between his parents is Uncle Dan, the one standing beside Grandma (Anna Stotz), Uncle Clemence, the one beside Grandpa (George Leibert Beitel), Uncle Edward. Uncle Chas. and Aunt Anna hadn't arrived when that was taken.
This photo would have been taken before August 14, 1879 since Chas and Anna had not yet been born.
If anyone has information about this it would be greatly appriciated.
