I am looking for any information on my grandmother's family.
Lillian Mae Owens was born in rockford illinois to Samuel Hoxie Owens & Bertha Gann, in 1907. She had 2 brothers, Norman, Russell, and one sister Beverly.
Her father's family came from Mifflin Wisconsin; he was one of eleven children born to Benjamin Franklin Owens, & his wife Mary Roberts. His siblings were;
Daniel (his twin), Nell, Margaret Jane "Maggie", Martha A. "Mattie", Owen, Rosa Bell, Jessie B. (twin) Bessie (Twin), Lenore O., & Mabel.
His father was one of nine children born to John M. Owens & Ellen Hughes.
His siblings were William Penn, George, Thomas J., David, Robert, Albert, John J., & Owen. They came from Wales, & settled in Pennsylvania, then Dodgeville, WI, then Plattville, WI, to Picatonica WI. William moved to Iowa after the civil war with his wife Caroline but little is known after that.
