Montgomery Life, Fort Washington, Montgomery County, PA, June 12, 2008:
Frances M. (Smolinski) Pasquale, a resident of Melbourne Beach, Fla. and former resident of King of Prussia, died June 3, 2008, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. She was 87.
Mrs. Pasquale was a co-owner of the former Valley Forge Tavern with her late husband, Dominick. Frances was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia and a founding member of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
Born in Plymouth Township, she was a daughter of the late Vincenty and Petronella (Licwinko) Smolinski. She was the wife of the late Dominick D. Pasquale, who died in 2006.
She is survived by two sons, H. Donald Pasquale of Valley Forge; and Charles J. Pasquale of W. Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren: and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Benjamin, Anthony, Wally and Joseph; and four sisters, Verna Craven, Julia Detrich, Rose Foulke and Stella Lemke.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 7 at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia. Entombment was in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia.
Memorial contributions may be made in Frances' memory to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
Arrangements are by The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport.
Obit show Frances' father as Vincenty - census shows him as William. If this is yours, Frances sister Rose was born in Washington State - Washington State Birth Index shows: Rose Smolenski born Sept. 23, 1917 in Benton County; father William; mother Petronella Licwinko.
