Okay,
This is all I know: Elizabeth Blackburn married Martin Scalf in 1839 in Habersham County, Georgia. According to an 1880 census report Elizabeth Scalf, who was listed as 59 at the time of the census which would put her DOB at 1821 was living with her daughter Minora and her husband W D McDowell. On the 1880 census report it lists Elizabeth Scalf (Blackburn) as being born in South Carolina (in 1821). The only other info I have on her is what I previously posted. A letter from Elizabeth's great granddaughter, which indicates that she was a Cherokee Indian from Pennsylvania and she married a second husband by the name of Till or possibly Tillman Brown. So there is some discrepancy as whether the Elizabeth I am looking for was born in Pennsylvania (according to her great granddaughter) or South Carolina (according to the 1880 census report). I do have a marriage announcement that ELizabeth Blackburn did marry Martin Scalf (who is Minora's father) in Habersham County Georgia in 1839. That is all I know. Don't have a DOD for Elizabeth. This is all that I know.
