Shelley Childs provided us with a 1900 census report from Philidelphia, pennsylvania and it gave us great info. to start on our fathers side(Pearson) of the family lineage.
George Washington Pearson was born in April 1893 He had a sister named Margaret and a brother named John. It also seems that he had an uncle and aunt-Charles and Rose Bier.
Charles was born in 1863 and Rose was born in 1861-both in
Philidelphia, Pennsylvania but their parents on both sides were from Germany.
We were told our Grandfather George Washington Pearson died in an accident in the Mill he worked at in Pennsylvania when he was about 37 years old? On his draft registration it says he worked for John and James Dobson Carpet Mill.
Does anyone have info. about his death/obituary?
