Yes, Norristown is in Montgomery County - in fact it's the county seat.

I'm sorry I can't get over there to help you out right now, but the people in the archives are extremely nice & the data is well-organized! If you contact them they would be able to help you out if they applied for their license in MontCo. Marriage licenses are alphabetized by both bride's & groom's surnames. It should be fairly easy for them.

Try contacting Carole in the records department - if she's still there. I believe they only charge for copies - not the time to look it up.
