Can anyone tell where the small branch of Buffalo Creek is located on today's map of Hopewell Twp? This creek ran through the property of George Sharp in the late 1700's-to early 1800's. Also, I have a 1996 map showing the a Cravot Coal Co and Conotton Land Co owning acreage (I think) in the same area where the Sharp farm was.
How can I accurately locate the property on today's maps and find the past owners through the years without having to go to the courthouse? I live out of state.
