I'm looking for the father of Matthew Long Hain b.1818 PA He married Maria Miller in 1851 Westmoreland co. Her father was David Miller and mother Catharina Shumacher.
They had a son in 1853 and some time after that moved to IND. Then IL. Was looking to find the Long connection, think it might be his mothers maiden name. Their son stated his fathers parents were English but Matthew said PA in census records.
In 1850 census Matthew in living with Silas Riggs and he was a flour miller.
Any clues would help so much.
