I found the census records for my gr grandparents family in Wilpen, PA for 1910, listing Stephan b.1866. Also found the 1930 census and the family is still in that area - but he is not listed because he died in 1918 (Spanish flu). Several of the children, however, did move to Ohio as adults. So it makes me wonder if there was family there.

I have not been able to find any other records on Stephan and Mary Kolesar of Wilpen, PA. I doubt that he was natualized and told any records were probably burned in a fire. It's unfortunate the information wasn't passed down.

If in fact I can find the 1910/30 census records for Stefan Kolesar in Ohio, for sure they would be two different Stefan Kolesars.

Thanks Tim,
Cheryl
