I am searching for my grandfather- george Franklin Holley( Hawley) born in Alford?, Pa. in 1848/49. He married 1st, Elizabeth Sherwood of Dimock, Pa. july 29, 1867. He then married Emma Brow who died in childbirth abt. 1900. He disappeared after that, some say he ran away with the housekeeper. He left behind his children, one of which was my father Earl S. Hawley, B. May 8, 1895, hte others that we know of are: Daniel, B. Jan. 4, 1876, Jason, B. March 14, 1878 who first married, Mary Pollie Root. They had three children plus a child of Mary's from her previous marraige. He then married jemima Aten Hawley who had been married to a Hawley before she married Jason. George, B. may 9, 1881, Charlie, B. August 10, 1883, DAISEY, b. mAY 25, 1887, lEE, b. dEC. 10, 1889, HE MARRIED mARY FARR, cLARA, b. mARCH 19, 1891, sAM, b. sEPT. 9, 1893, pANSEY, b. jUNE 3, 1896, SHE MARRIED gLENN JENNINGS, lINA & mAYD, TWINS b. mARCH 19, 1897, i WAS TOLD THAT THEY DIED VERY YOUNG, AND fLOYD b. mARCH 12, 1899. fLOYD WAS ADOPTED BY A FAMILY NAMED Smith who lived in Harford,Pa. in 1900. Clara was also living with the Smith's but they did not adopt her. Any help would be appriciated. (Sorry about the caps lock being on, I am not a good typist and did not notice). Lorena Auwarter
