m. Fidelia ______ b. 1799 Rhode Island
They had these children, all born in Pennsylvania:
Abram or Abraham b. 1828
Charles b. 1839
Lucy b. 1841
Caroline b. 1843
Rhoda b. 1844
The 1850 Census shows the family living in Nicholson, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, with Rufus' occupation as farmer.
