Looking for the parents of Anthony Beers(1839-1893).He was a Captain in the 11th PA Cavalry,Company H,during the Civil War.His re-enlistment record,dated 1/1/1864 lists his birth place as Wyoming County,Pa.It also indicates he resided in Mauch Chunk,Carbon County at that time.
He married Maria C. Kast in Weissport,Carbon County in 1868.
He died in Philadelphia in 1893 and is buried with his wife in Lehighton,Carbon County,Pa.
