I believe the middle name is spelled Dorothea. She was born probably 1864; died Sept. 19, 1892, giving birth to my mother (of same given names) She died on a farm about 3 miles south of Rolla, Mo. She is buried in the Rolla, Mo. area.
Am also looking for her mother's maiden name. Dont know where she married John Frederick Wendland. They had 3 childred, Bessie, Emma, and Wilhelmina (the infant). then grandfather pulled stakes and returned to Michigan,Detroit the newspaper said. There is a Wendland farm in Clinton County Mi.
