I am descended from their son Stephen PACE m Jane WOOD (m (2) Joab BREWTON)[HOWARD fgs 1979].

1800 census: Stephen PACE, 00100-00100-00. (p209) Spartanburg Co SC (1 male 16<26; 1 female 16<26) (Note: this man born abt 1774/1784)

Oct 1802 rec'd w/o detail at the Rock Mtg House, Reedy River Bapt Chh.

Located in nw Greenville Co on US Hwy 25 Bypass, Reedy River Bapt Chh is situated just north of Furman Univ and 1.5 mi s of Travelers Rest. With the exception of the period 1827-1830, when it was listed in association minutes as Reedy River Chh, this church was known bef 8 Aug 1846 as Head of Enoree Chh.
