Pat:
James M. Pace and Susan Jane Adwell were on the 1850 census of Barren Co., KY with sons William J. b. 1845, Joseph L. b. 1848, Samuel b. 1850. On the 1870 census they had the following additional children: Elizabeth J. b. 1856, James T. b. 1858, Tilda B. b. 1862, Phebe A. b. 1864 and Nancy M. b. 1866. Also in the household on the 1870 census was Emily C. Pace age 23 and a young Nancy J. Pace. Emily may have been the wife of Samuel as the other older sons married someone else.
James M. Pace had 8 siblings.
