You are correct. James was a son of Joseph Pace b. 1776 m. Martha Foster. Joseph was a son of William Henry Pace, Sr. b. 10/10/1745 m. Mary Wineinger (he was Life Guard to George Washington in the Rev. War).
William Sr. was a son of John H. Pace b. 3/14/1721/22 m. Susannah Hutchins. John H. was a son of Joseph Pace, Sr. b. 1698 m. Ann Basford, and Joseph was a son of John Pace of Middlesex b. possibly in 1642 m. Elizabeth.
