My 5th great grandmother, Elizabeth "Betsy" Pace was born 29 Apr 1784. In about 1805, she married George Chappell who was born 6 Oct 1782. They settled in Clay Co., KY between 1810 and 1819.

Chappell Geo 200 acres Book 25 Page 136 Laurel Fk of Ky River

On the 1820 Clay Co., KY Census, George and Elizabeth were living near Robert and Matthew Pace. On the 1850 Clay Co., KY Census, George Pace, age 50, born in NC, is is living with them. Could these men be brothers of Elizabeth? Does anyone have a clue who Elizabeth's parents were?
