Drury md Sarah Nelson in Clark Co. Ga. bought 60 acres of land from his bro James, who went to Tn. Drury and his bro Jeremiah stayed in Clark Co. until after the War of 1812. He inlistedin the 3rd Regiment as a sergent. severed 16 Oct. - March 1815.Must have been in Battle of N.Orleans for that was the only action at that time. There were 2 other Drury Paces that served thier country. 1 was s/o Richard 1V- fought in the Revolution War before the Clark Co. Drury was born. Another fought in the War 1812 but he was 62 yrs. old in 1850 [ census].after the war , he went to Hickman Co. Had land on Tumbling Creek abt 15 miles west of Pace Pond. May have had a son, Jackson md, Mourning Lagen in Lawrence Co[formely part of Hickman co.] Tn. Now you see if you can sort this out.
