I did not intend to get into this, merely wanted to say that the Capt. Drury in Am. Rev. was almost certainly too old to be in War of 1812. I descend from Capt. Drury via his son William who married #2 Agatha Parker.
I took a quick look on <www.google.com> and found that the Drury you refer to (who was in War of 1812) was born a 1780 the son of William Pace, Sr. who moved from NC to GA. William was born a 1750 s/o James Pace c1722-c1766 (wife unknown) and married Ruth Lambert. James was s/o George Pace and Obedience ____. George c1694-c1742.
Capt. Drury had a son Drury who was b c1781. It is quite possible that this is the Drury who was 62 in 1850, which would make him born c1788. Capt. Drury had children born from around 1769 to at least 1785 (Richard was born 9Aug1785, the only child for whom I have a specific birth date.) I do not know if Drury, Jr. lived in SC and/or GA.
