de la Ronde's Plantation

Dear Sirs:

Our Ancestor Capt. James PACE was killed during the War of 1812. He was a member of the Tennissee Volunteers and met his demize on Dec 24, 1814 at de la Ronde's plantation. This was during one of the delaying skermishes leading up to the Battle of New Orleans.

Can anyone give me the location of de la Ronde's plantation? (I took this information some years ago from the PACE Society web site.)

Sincerely, Martha Gresham
