The Pace Family: "John M. Pace was the oldest son of Joel Pace, Sr. He came from Virginia to Kentucky and from Kentucky to Jefferson county, Illinois. His family consisted of Haney T., George W., John H. and Joel F., his sons; and Amelia Guthrie and Amanda Rogers, his daughters."
AMANDA PACE m. William A. Rogers(son of my 3rd gr. grandfather, Lemuel ROGERS). Lemuel Rogers: Sumner Co.,TN and Jefferson Co., IL.
AMELIA J. PACE m. JOSEPH M. GUTHRIE, based on census & various records. Yet,I have found NO 'actual' marriage record for Amelia PACE to J. M. GUTHRIE. There is a Amelia J. ROGERS m. Joseph M. GUTHRIE 08/25/1844 in Jefferson Co., IL. Does anyone know if Amelia J. PACE was 'perhaps' first married to a Rogers and than to Joseph H. Guthrie????
I live in NE, which sometimes makes it hard to find records needed, so any HELP on these families would be greatly appreciated.
