Gordon, If while looking at Paces in Alabama you come across
a Frances A.born Nov.1827,please let me know.
She is in Virginia on the 1900 and 1910 Fluvanna Census
as Frances A.Cosby.
In 1900 she is a widow,living alone, next door to
my Grandfather John Walker Pace. In 1910 she is living
in the household of O.A .,son of John Walker Pace.
My mother Vera Walker Pace was born 1893. She always
talked about her " Aunt Fanny Cosby" living with them
and her brother Overton Pace. My grandfather must have
died between 1900 and 1910.
On both of the Census she is shown as born in Alabama.
Someone in my Grandfather's family must have gone to
Alabama, for her to come back and live with them.
