It appears that the parents of your Sarah Jane Pace were Solomon Wininger Pace b. 5/1836 Jackson Co, AL and Nancy J. b. 1835 TN. They were on the 1870 and 1880 census of Jackson Co, AL, but surprisingly, Sarah Jane is not listed on the 1880 census. All I have is a transcription so perhaps her name was unreadable. On the 1870 census neighbors of Solomon were John H. Hall age 28 and Mary Hall, age 58 and their families. Other chidren of Solomon were: William Hosea, Jackson M., Mary E., Preston G., Jesse H., David B., Tennessee Elizabeth, James and Matty.
Solomon is a descendant of John Pace of Middlesex VA, ca. 1660.
