Hi Melinda, Your people may be connected to the Missouri PACE family of GEORGE WILLIAM PACE Jr. - b May 14 1849 West DEAN, Gloucestershire, England who came to the US in 1869 with his brother LEMUEL and settled at Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After the famous devastating flood at Johnstown in 1889 when over 2,200 were left dead, and LEMUEL was not heard of again, GEORGE headed west and settled in MUNROE County, Missouri where he married Rachel BUCKLEY GEORGE WILLIAM PACE. probably choose to move to the MONROE County area of MISSOURI as there was mining going on in southern Mo. where he settled. Family stories states that he later traveled to and owned an interest in some type of mining in COLORADO. He never moved his family there as he bought land in MORGAN county, Mo. and his main occupation was farming. He was well respected in the community but there seems to be no connection to him and other Pace's in Missouri, at that time.
their family
Allice PACE age 8 b. Missouri, US
Sarah PACE age 6 b. Missouri, US
George PACE age 4 b. Missouri, US
Joseph PACE age 1 b. Missouri, US

I don't know any more about his US family history but there are three descendents who may know more.
