You are such a great help to everyone on this forum, and I am just another one that needs some clarification.
You mentioned in Query # 3053 that MARY PACE b. 1739/40, wife of JACOB ALFORD, was the probable daughter of GEORGE PACE b.Jan 8, 1714/15 OR b. 1685?/1688?, Wife OBEDIENCE WOREKAN/WORSHAM. I would appreciate you going a step further to say who the father of this GEORGE PACE might be. I have a dozen of them on my charts. Was he the son of JAMES PACE/ wife ELIZABETH LOWE? I knew this couple (JAMES & ELIZABETH) had a son named GEORGE, but thought he had married someone named SARAH.
I have also seen where JOHN PACE/wife ELIZABETH (NEWSOME)had a son named GEORGE, but he seems to have died unmarried. The date of this Geo. is variable also.
I have seen no history on this couple (George PACE & OBEKIENCE WOREKAN ) as to when they might have moved to N.C. or if they had other children besides Mary b. 1739/40.
I would apprecaiate your putting in list form the line of decent starting from Geo. Pace/ Mary Baker and then show me how it should come down to my George Pace/Obedience Worekan and to their daughter Mary Pace/ Jacob Alford. I would be eternally grateful to get out of this quagmire.
