Hi,Roseanne-
Not sure,but this may help:while I was searching through the ship records,I found this and noted it,because I'm looking for my Parisi ancestors!
S.S.Perugia,Naples>N.Y.,11/14/1909-
Nicoline Aniello(29)(to visit her father,Angelo Aniello,in Brooklyn),w/her children,Maria Pace(8),Mariano Pace(3,U.S.born),Crocifissa Pace(1,U.s.born),and her niece,Antonina Parisi(21)(to visit her father,Salvatore Parisi)the place of origin(it was hard to make out)looks like it says "Calatafimi",southern Sicily.
I can only assume that Nicoline married a Parisi(probably a brother of Salvatore)and changed the last name.
I can't confirm that yet,I haven't got around to that part.But since I noticed your post,I dug it up.Hope it's of some use!If you are able to make a connection,would you let me know?In case it does connect to mine?Good luck!
