I don't know if there is any connection here or not, but, of the 12,000 Paces who I know the ancestry of, there is only one whose name starts with Q - Quintella Pace b. abt. 1800-1812 in Surry Co, NC. But I have that she married a John Conley on 11/2/1830 in Greene Co, AL. Quintella was a daughter of Edmund Marion Pace (1764-1834) and Sarah E. Walker (1766-1840) of Surry Co, NC.
