I have traced my maternal roots to Sandon Sydney Pace who was married to Mary Ann Weir. My mother tells me that Sandon Pace was nicknamed "Sandy", was a surgeon and came from England to America sometime in the middle 1800's. Mom also said that he was or had been a surgeon in the Royal Navy. I haven't found anything before him - yet - and if any one has some information, please let me know.
