I have recently discovered that the above couple were ancestors of my granddaughter, and I'd love to know more about them. All I know is they were from GA; Bryant was in the Confederate army, and Elizabeth Jane filed for a pension. They were parents of James N. and Alice B. Pace - and others that I don't have information on. Alice B. married A. L. BRUMBELOW 23 Jun 1874 in Grimes Co., TX. Alice and A. L. Brumbelow were in Navarro Co., TX in 1880 with daughter, Cally, and then in 1900 Alice was back in Grimes Co., TX, living with her mother, Elizabeth J. Pace, and both were widows. In 1880, Elizabeth J. was living with son James N., 22, in Grimes Co., TX.
