Kathy, Ihave reread this post several times. Who is Emily
who sold property to James L. Pace in 1848.?
Do you have a copy of that deed?
My grandfather had a brother James L.Pace, Do you know
what the connection between Emily and James Pace may have
been.
I am still trying to locate the maiden name of my
grgrandmother Elizabeth Pace b. abt. 1816 and married
to John R.Pace b. abt. 1809. They lived near Central Plains,as did most of my ancestors.
I am beginning to feel that some of them may have used
different names.

My James L. Pace was supposed to have been born to
them in 1844 as James Llewellyn Pace. His brother,
John Walker Pace was my grandfather.
John Walker Pace was married to Rebecca Ann Robinson,
She was the dau. of David Robinson and Mary A. Herndon.

I know we have covered all this before, just hoping
to hit a different chord. Have lost a lot of my computer
data, so please forgive any repetiti

Lois
