Here is what I have (soon to be on the Internet):
Amelia J Pace, b 1821 (age 25 in 1850) in Jefferson Co IL. She married twice; the first marriage was to David Rogers in Jefferson Co on 29 June 1837. He must have died and Amelia then married Joseph M Guthrie on 24 August 1844 in Jefferson Co. He was born in OH in 1822, son of David Guthrie and Mary _____. For a few years after their marriage, Joseph and Amelia lived with Joseph’s parents in Jefferson Co. The 1860 census taker mistakenly wrote down Joseph’s wife’s name as Mary J, but the age and birthplace was still right. Amelia was with him in the 1870 census. Joseph died by 1909. Joseph and Amelia had three children by 1850, and seven by 1870, all born in Jefferson Co.
I have more info. Contact me if this is your family. I am related to Amelia Pace, not the Guthrie or Rogers families, and I can go back a few generations on Amelia, and show info on some of her 10 kids.
