I am looking to fill in some gaps in our family history. The Joe Pace family we're related to lived in KC Kansas or MO, in the 1930's - 70's.
Joe was a firt cousin to our grandmother Maria Marchese from Gibilina, Italy and they came over together on Sept. 27, 1912 on the ship Calabria from Palermo, Italy. They traveled as married since this was a safe way for a woman to travel.
Joe married once in the US and had children in the KC area. My mother in law Phyllis A. Asbury, aka Fillipi Adelina Marchese, Signorelli has passed on, she said that she had lost contact with this family probably due to deaths of the older generation.
The grandparents were the same for Joe Pace and Maria Marchese their name is unknown, I am looking for this.
Maria's mother was Theresa Pace (sister to Joe Paces father)her father was Joseph Marchese, they were in Italy and never left.
I will share what I have with anyone interested.
