Richard Pace 4/28/11
According to a webpage at http://www.searchmytree.com/phpgedview/phpGedView-4.2.3/individual.php?pid=I85891&ged=ES%2020100427.gedhttp://www.searchmytree.com/phpgedview/phpGedView-4.2.3/individual.php?pid=I85891&ged=ES%2020100427.ged, an earlier George Edward Pace was married to Elizabeth Ann Lintlock in St Andrew's, Halifax, NS, on 24 October 1839.
This shows that the name "George Edward Pace" was in use in the family of the NS Paces. The author of the post you cited may well be correct in speculating that Monsignor Edward Aloysius Pace might have been descended from Darius Pace, as Darius had sons named George and Edward.
