Thomas Pace's daughter Elizabeth appears to have married Nathan Powell, not Willoughby. In 1797 Nathan Powell, administrator and oldest male relative, returned an account of the estate of John Pace dec'd.(Halifax Co Court Minutes Vol II 1796-1797 p. 55, Feb Court 1797).John Pace was Elizabeth Pace's brother. He apparently died before his father Thomas Pace wrote his will, since the will makes provision for paying his debts, and orders the sale of property "that I gave to my son John".
Willoughby, Nathan, and Nathaniel Powell were brothers, sons of Nathaniel Powell who died by April 1777 when his will was proved in Edgecombe Co.The will named all three sons and was witnessed by John Pace, presumably Thomas Pace's son John.
