Pacelli Family in Salerno, Italy
Posted by: Frank Parcella Date: November 27, 2001 at 15:19:47

I just discovered that my grandfather, Vincenzo Pacelli (Pacella, Parcella) was born in 1859-1865 in Salerno, Italy.
He later immigrated to Luzerne county (Hazleton Pennsylvania).

His parents were Guiseppi and Raphael, who were also born in Salerno.

He died on Aug 16, 1930 and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.

Is there a way to obtain Civil or Church records to obtain further detail?

Anyone out there related?

Frank
