Hi Pascale, Mario & Tomasso,
I am wondering if my Pacelli's are related to yours. I do not know where my gggrandmother Josephine Pacelli was born but her son, Gaetano Tortora, was born in Pagani (Salerno). This is SE of Naples/Napoli. She had a relative, Angelo Pacello, in San Valentine (Torio). It seems to me these are all a good day's ride from your towns. Do you have any such similar names or places in your line? I think mine must be conected to those of Dean Amadio who were from San Valentine also. Tomasso, can you send me your Pacelli info? My Josephine said whe was related to Pope Pius XII (but she was known to lie sometimes). Do any of you know how I can get Church records from towns in Italy? I wrote to two on July 29 but have not heard back yet.
Barbara
