Hi Paul, My dad, Salvatore Pacelli was born Oct.7, 1900, in San Salvatore. He came to the U S in 1923 to be reunited with his mother. From what I was told my Grandmother was not married to my Grandfather. I guess the Pacelli family owned my grandmother's family and they were not allowed to marry. The Pacelli family sent grandma to the US to get her away from grandpa. My dad always said we were related to Pope Pius XII, saying his grandfather and the Pope's father were brothers. I don't know if this is true or not. My grandfather's name was Adolpho Pacelli. Can you help me take this a step futher? The Rose Lombard that appears here is my cousin, Her mother Theresa and my grandmother Angelina were sisters. Thnaks in advance Angela (Pacelli) Valentine
