Bartolomeo Clemente Pacetti was actually born in 1813 and was the first permanent settler of Ponce Park. He and Martha Wickwire had 5 children: Douglas, Henry C., Bartola John, Seraphine Isabel, and Gomez. Seraphine married John Gardner in 1885 and they had 7 children: Ethel Douglas, Henry Bartola, Annie Post (my grandmother), John Leslie, Margarite, Martha Elanore and William Gregg. My grandma Annie had 10 children, 8 survived. My dad is the second of her children and the oldest living. He will be 87 next Friday, November 16. He can tell great stories of growing up here in the Port Orange area and of the Pacettis, especially Uncle Gomez. I have a picture of my grandmother and her siblings and several other family members including Uncle Gomez. I also have some history from books about Ponce Inlet and from other scources gathered by my Aunt. I would be happy to share what I have with you.
