I was surprised when I found other Pacetti's in census, straight from Italy...even in Florida. However, most of the "old" ones in Florida all descend from Andres Pacetti, who came over with Turnbull in 1768 with the Minorcans to raise indigo. Sam is from that line. I would love to be able to locate them in Italy and at least get a foothold there to know the origin. Andres went to Minorca and married a local girl before leaving there in 1768. leonard@mccown.org
