I have a birth certificate of my father's from Puerto Rico. It is in bad shape but there is a Cruz Pacheco, have you heard of this lady. I can make out a little bit of this paper, however it is in Spanish, so here goes.

My father was born in Yauco(Rene Mejia Rivera)in 1911 his father was Jose Mejia and his mother was Cruz Rivera, here is part of his birth certificate.

I hope this helps because it would be nice to find more relatives. My father is now 89 in fair health but the last one left of I think 11 children. I am going to write and get a new birth certificate from Puerto Rico. I have been lucky because this one is numbered 382 so it should be easy to find it.
