Hi there- I just learned my grandfather was one of nine children and had a brother named Jose Amado Pacheco and they lived in Huerfano Co.. My mother was born in Walsenburg and spent alot of time as a child with her grandmother in Gardner, CO, whose 1st marriage was to a Martinez and 2nd was Padilla. I believe her maiden name was Maestas, but I'll have to check on that. I also remember my mom talking of an "uncle Lopez". Alot of familiar names! Keep me posted on what you find out. Nancy
