Hi Paul,
Yes, the Land Grant was issued to Ygnacio Antonio Pacheco from the King of Spain. I have a facsmile of the grant and its translation to English. It was issued in 1818.The brand you indicate is also known as the "Old Pacheco".I would guess your great great great grandfather may be Refugio Pacheco (1837-1873 ?) I have history from Ygnacio (born 1775) forward along my family lines. My Great Grandfather worked at a ranch in the Arizona area owned/managed by an Englishman during the 20's and 30's. Can you comment more on your grandfather's ranch ?

Regards,

Eric
