Thanks for the information about Greenville Pack. I also was able to find a site which lists all the names of the Packs which are buried at St. Peters Lutheran Church (the church that my great-grandfather William F. Pack is listed as a trustee of. He is also buried at the cemetary of the church; the church is not there, but I visited the cemetary. It is about a half mile out of Cripple Creek, Va. on the side of a hill, just off St. Peters Rd. Here is the site: http://www.angelfire.com/wv/akers/stpeters.htm I also have a BMP file on my computer with William Pack's picture, if anyone if interested in seeing it. It was on display in the living room of the old Pack farmhouse, where we had the reunion, and so I took a picture of it. Not much is know of Greenville Pack, who was William's father, except based on the dates I researched, he must have been an interesting man - he married three times. At 17 to Nancy Hooker, at age 44 to Susan Parr, and then finally, at age 57 to Rebecca Duncan. (Apparently he was very healthly) I'm not sure which one was the mother of William F. Pack. I would love to find out where Greenville was born, but probably won't be able to. Anyway, I hope this helps to put some of the pieces into the puzzle.
