She is theh daughter of George W. Pack, born 22 april 1844 in polk co, nc and died 1 aug 1935 in stoddard co, missouri, and frances lois kara (or Kora), born 1840's and died feb or march 1913, both in missouri. George pack is buried at greenbriar cemetary, rock point, missouri (stoddard county)and francis is buried at hunter cemetary at sikeston, missouri (scott county). George w pack was the son of alfred pack, born about 1817 in tennessee and mary walker, born anout 1820 in sc, according to the 1850 census of rutherford county, nc. Laura died of cancer as you mentioned, in clifton, sc. an unmarked grave beside her is believed to be her brother. her tombstone b 23 aug 1870 and d 30 nov 1913. however in lindsey's own handwriting in his ''little red book'' (in the possession of my G-aunt elizabeth (lib) henderson michaels, who has compiled all this info) reads; "laura henderson was born in Lafait (?) county,Mo in the year 1869 August23"
