Wow, this is a lot of work, thank you! In the census, it's easy to conclude that Allen must be his father, and given his ages in the 1870 & 1880 in context with the other George's in the general vicinity at those times, this is really the only one who fits. So, it's probably a safe assumption, but you how one assumption in genealogy can throw off the whole thing if it's wrong, so I was just wondering if anyone had any other documentation showing Allen as our George's father? And, thanks again.
