Without any dates or places to go on, you'd need someone who was vastly experienced, incredibly intelligent, and, above all, devilishly handsome to be able to find anything for you.

BOY, are you lucky!

she dies.
Name: Sophrona Ann/Pack
Sex: Female
Death Date: 23 Mar 1922
Death Place: Charleston, Kanawha, West Virginia
Age at Death: 69y 1m 28d
Father: John Medley

George is right above her, probably; a George Pack died March 13, but his age is off by 2, so I can't tell if he is ours. He probably is. His other death record is more accurate.

http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=1035314&Type=Death
has Sophrona's mother as "Miss Gimmoz", maybe - it is VERY hard to read. Might be "Gummor".

http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=1035257&Type=Death
has George, indexed as "Geo W". No parents, though.

(Census entries from Ancestry, although the LDS "Pilot" has some. All names as indexed, not necessarily as written or as they should be.)

There is a George Pack, age 57, in the WV penitentiary in Moundsville Ward 2, Marshall, West Virginia in the 1910. If he is ours, it would explain why Sophrona was with her daughter.

has a lot on Sophrona and George's kids - more than I want to copy and paste here.

"Sabina" is probably your Sophrona, living with her grandmother. The handwriting is very clear, 150 years later; it says "Gunnoe". Wm. Blaine, assistant Marshall, has been dead for a long time, but his work lives on. I wish the 1922 death cert had been as clear.

I can't find either one in 1870. Sorry. And, there isn't an aged parent living with them in 1900, 1910 or 1920. George's parents are a mystery to me.
